Joomla 6 Notice

Hi..

Please i want to be able to only search a form data by one of the field for example: student ID, i want to be able to only see the particular student details after i key in the student ID.

I dont want by default all the form entries to be displayed in the front view. ONLY TO DISPLAY BY STUDENT ID when i input the student ID.

Please how can i achieve this with the form.. I have the updated component.

Hi,
you cannot display the user id in the data views and you cannot search by the user id in the data views.

Visforms provides you with the option to restrict the frontend data views in a way that a logged in user can only see there own data. ( www.vi-solutions.de/en/documentations/do...own-record-sets-only )

If you do not activate this option, visforms will display all record sets a user is allowed to see (controlled by the ACL configuration settings which you made for the form).
