Select Filed "Choose a Value" Issue

Hi...

Please why is the Choose a value still showing in the select option filed in the form?

I already have options and i chose an option to be the default option to appear in the from but still the "Choose a Value" is still showing in the options.

Am i missing something please? how can this be hidden since there is a default option already checked.

Hi,
A default value is a preselection and nothing more.
If the field is not required, the user must still be able to unselect it completely. Therefore we need the "Choose a value" option in this case too.
The "Choose a value" option is only hidden if it is really not necessary and that depends on more field settings then just a default value.
