Joomla 6 Notice

We are pleased to announce that all our Joomla extensions have been compatible with Joomla 6 since October 14th, 2025.

textarea does not display data in form with edit

textarea does not display data in form with edit was created by janbulens
If i open a form with the menu:  form with edit, then the textarea does not display data. But when set in the basic field options HTML edit to off, then the data is displayed? Is this a bug?

I am using joomla 4

Hi, with regards to the fact, that you are on Joomla 4, this could be a bug. I have to take a look at this as soon as possible.

Yes, you found a bug in Visforms for Joomla! 4
I will fix this as soon as possible, but it may take a view days.

Addendum:
The error regarding the 'HTML Editor' setting for the textarea was a bug in Visforms and was finally fixed on 03.11.2021 with Visforms 4.1.3.
