Form data display problem was created by hktanty
Hello,
I am new to Visforms. Just started today. I created a form and inserted three records. Now I want to display all those three rows in my article in Joomla 4.06. I have put the Visforms script as shown below.{vfdataview}{"formid":"3","fieldlist":"8,9"}{/vfdataview}When I view the page, it displays the column names as shown below, but no data.s_ids_nameI don't understand why this is happening.
Grateful if any one can help me to resolve this problem.
Thanks for any help.

Hello hktanty,

all settings in order to see user data in the frontend are listed below.

Showing user data in the frontend is of highly personal and law concern, e.g. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
All Visforms default settings are therefore made in the meaning of 'do not show user data in the frontend at all'.
You have to enable and allow the data view in the frontend at all places in the form-, field-, and data-configuration.

- Form:
    - tab 'Result'
        - 'Save Result' = 'Yes'
    - tab 'Dataview in Frontend'
'Allow Frontend Data View' = 'Yes'
'Own Data only' = 'Yes' or 'No'    [optional]
'Frontend Dataview Access' = 'Public' or higher [optional]
'Auto Publish Data' = 'Yes' [optional]
- Field:
    - tab 'Advanced'
        - Display Data In Frontend != 'Don't show' [any other value]
- Form Data in the Backend
    - Column 'Published' = checked (green check mark)

Best regards, Ingmar

Hello,
I have enabled the same settings as you have mentioned. But still then it does not show the data. It shows only the column headings. I am lost, what I am doing wrong. This is very crucial for me. Kindly help.
I am confused. Appreciate any help.

Hello hktanty,

the feature works perfectly, which I just tested with my settings mentioned earlier in a newly created article:
[url] www.vi-solutions.de/forum-uploads/user-data-in-article.png [/url]

1- Please revisit your settings and assure in particular, that the setting 'Display Data In Frontend' is correctly set for your case of a list view ('List and details' or 'List only').
2- Please revisit the form data and assure there is at least 1 record saved and set to 'published'.

There is no other factor which may interfere with the successful result of having the data visible in your article.

Hope this helps, Ingmar

Thank you. It works now for me. I had to publish each data record set to be displayed in Frontend.

My apology for ignorance as a beginner.

Kindly close this thread.

Regards.
