Hallo Visforms-Team,

ich wollte nur kurz durchgeben, dass ich bei der Verwendung von Joomla 4 und PHP 8.1. bei einem Datumsfeld folgende Fehlermeldung erhalte:

Deprecated: Function strftime() is deprecated in /www/htdocs/xxxxxxx/example.org/administrator/components/com_visforms/src/Service/HTML/Visformscalendar.php on line 68

Ist aber kein Problem, ich habe wieder zu PHP 8.0 zurück gewechselt.

Hallo Fabian,

herzlichen Dank für die Info!

Das Release 4.2.1 ist offiziell mit PHP 8.0 kompatibel:
docs.joomla-4.visforms.vi-solutions.de/u...s/sub-version-4-2-1/

Wir arbeiten aber schon länger kontinuierlich an der Umstellung auf PHP 8.1.
Gut möglich, dass mit Visforms Version 4.2.2 dann auch das PHP 8.1 komplett und offiziell kommt.
Es sind insgesamt schon recht viele Änderungen notwendig.

Deine Warnung für 'Visformscalendar.php on line 68' haben wir bereits behoben.
Kommentar im Code: // fix php 8.1 deprecated strftime()

Ich gehe davon aus, dass du weißt, dass eine PHP 'Deprecated' Warnung nicht schlimm ist.
Die Funktionalität ist dadurch in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt.
Auf einer Produktiv-Seite sollte das PHP-Error-Level auch nie so 'fein' eingestellt sein.
