Hello Romank,

this usually happens in connection with an unfavorable server and/or PHP configuration.
A detailed PHP error report would be very helpful for us (the whole call stack with all the information).
To get a verbose PHP error report, enable maximum debugging in the Joomla administration before reproducing the error:

Dashboard --> Global Configuration, tab 'System', parameter 'Debug System' = 'Yes'
Dashboard --> Global Configuration, tab 'Server', parameter 'Error Reporting' = 'Maximum'

Kind regards, Ingmar

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).

 Ich empfehle Dir die neue und aktuelle Dokumentation für Joomla 4:

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.

Hello Romank,

until now there was always a detailed PHP error report for every error - especially the 'internal server error'.
This is Joomla and PHP standard.

Did you save the changed settings?
Can you attach a screenshot of the settings?

Perhaps the error already occurs when uploading the installation file.
You can bypass the upload via HTTP if you use the 'Install from Folder' tab.

Upload the installation file to the Joomla temporary directory using (S)FTP.
Then specify the file name on the 'Install from Folder' tab and start the installation again.

Otherwise find out why there is no PHP error report for the error.

Kind regards, Ingmar

Hello Romank,

unfortunately you made mistakes.

1. Install extensions
The file must also be found by Joomla.
You entered the path for the 'Joomla Installer' incorrectly.
The path must be relative to the temporary Joomla.
The path must not be specified absolutely.
As you have configured your 'Path to Tmp Folder' in Joomla, according to Joomla you are only allowed to specify the file name.
This has nothing to do with Visforms.

2. Debug settings.
Your incomplete screenshot does not show both settings as described.
Your screenshot only shows the first setting.
The second setting is also important for a correct result.
The second setting can also prevent the PHP error reporting,
This has nothing to do with Visforms either.

As already mentioned:
Find out why there is no PHP error report for the error.

Just for your information:
Visforms is used by tens of thousands of users.
All reported errors are fixed promptly and no problems are currently known.
These runtime errors usually happen in connection with an unfavorable server and/or PHP configuration.

Kind regards, Ingmar
