thank you for identifying the issue but asking our provider to change their PHP settings even if possible would take a few days. Is there any workaround we could do right away?

Hello romank,

the workaround you could do right away is called 'Manually pre-install PDF fonts':

1 - Download the following file 'pdffonts.zip':
vi-solutions.de/index.php?option=com_vis...er&linktype=pdffonts
2 - Unzip the file 'pdffonts.zip'.
It contains the 'fonts' directory.
3 - Copy the 'fonts' directory to the following directory within the Joomla instance:
media/com_visforms/tcpdf
4 - The result is the following directory path:
media/com_visforms/tcpdf/fonts

Now start the installation of the Visforms Subscription.
If the directory 'media/com_visforms/tcpdf/fonts' and the file 'helvetica.php' contained therein are present, the PDF fonts will not be installed.

Kind regards, Ingmar

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).

Hello romank,

we see this as interesting information for the Visforms documentation as well.
We will update the documentation to reflect your point.

I have created an issue for the development of the feature list:
Issue [VF-738] Forum: Docu: Add Section: Manually pre-install PDF fonts

If we have expanded the documentation, you will be informed about it explicitly here in the topic.
Thank you again for your contribution!

Kind regards, Ingmar

the issue [VF-738] Forum: Docu: Add Section: Manually pre-install PDF fonts
from above has been implemented.
The following section has been added to the documentation:
