Joomla 5 Notice

We are pleased to announce that as of January 29, 2024, all of our Joomla extensions are compatible with Joomla 5.

Installation: Fatal Error JDate not found was created by Administrator IV
Hallo zusammen,

einem Benutzer ist aufgefallen, dass beim Update von 5.0.3 auf 5.0.4 unter Umständen der folgende Fehler entsteht: Class 'JDate' not found.

Das Ausführen des Updates funktioniert nur mit aktiviertem Plugin 'Verhalten – Abwärtskompatibilität'.

Wir sehen das als einen Bug in Visforms an und werden das Verhalten anpassen.
Ich habe dazu einen Issue zur Entwicklung in der Bug-Liste angelegt:
Issue [VF-1134] VF5: vf_base installation: Fatal Error JDate not found - if Backwards Compatiblity Plugin is disabled

Wenn wir den Bug-Fix releasen, werdet ihr explizit über das Release hier im Thema informiert.
Vielen Dank nochmal für den Hinweis!

Lösung des Problems:
Man muss für die Installation der Basis Version noch einmal kurz das Plugin aktivieren.
Nach der Installation kann das Plugin wieder deaktiviert werden.

der Fehler ist behoben im neusten stabilen Release vom 18.06.2024 für Joomla 5:
