PDF Template was created by NickPovey
A request for a more advanced sort option.

We use the PDF Template to print competitor details for our events, it would be really useful if it were possible to sort the data by, for example, the field "Family Name" before printing our sign in sheets.

Ideally all fields could be selected as sort options, with possible a secondary sort as well.  An example  being sort by "Family Name", "First Name".

Many thanks

Nick

Hello Nick,

The functionality you are looking for is already flexibly supported by the PDF feature.
It might appear slightly different than you expect.
You can use the following method to implement your sorting requirements as well as any other display preferences—such as including only specifically selected records.

Create PDF Documents >> Advanced PDF Feature >> Secondary SQL statements:

Kind regards, Ingmar
