Hi,

I know that Visforms is working well on some pages with Font Awesome and I have not had a chance to take a look at a website where it does not work.
Could I take a look at your website?

Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.

Hi,

thanks for the link.

The statements in this thread are not very clear at all.
It think your problem is, that the date picker item does not show up properly in the form. Is that correct?

In your case I think the problem is, that the awesome icon fonts just steal the "icon" class attribute.
Joomla! uses the IcoMoon as Icon font and if a span or i HTML tag comes with class"icon-" it is assumed that the IcoMoon icon set, that comes with Joomla!, has to be used.

On your website the awesome css switches all HTML elements with class="icon-..." to the awesome icon set. I think that the "icon-calendar" is simply not present there or not defined or defined in another way than in the Joomla! core.
This is why the icon is not displayed properly.

So you can either add the missing icon the font awesome or you have to give the "icon-" class back to the Iconmoon and use another class prefix for the font awesome (which would be the proper, Joomla! core compatible) way in my opinion.

Regards,
Aicha
