Hi Matthias,

thanks. I will check, why updating the database tables did not work as expected with this specific combination of Visforms Versions.

Kind Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).

Hi Matthias,

I finally have had the time to check on this subject.
I installed Visforms 3.1.1 on a clean Joomla! installation. Then I updated to Visforms 3.5.7. Afterwards to 3.7.6.
This is a exact reproduction on how Visforms was installed and updated on your website.
Nevertheless, all database changes worked properly in this test series.

The changes to Visforms which required to add the fields which were missing on your installation and removing the one which was not removed properly on your website were made between Visforms 3.1.1 and 3.5.7. So actually it was the first update on your website which did not work properly. But you only discovered that, after you started to use Visforms and that was after the second update. As it is not very probable that somebody will run a Visforms update to 3.5.7, as this version is outdated, and the problem cannot be reproduced I think we can call the problem closed.

Thanks for your support and Kind Regards,
Aicha
