Problem with calendar and ReCaptcha

Hi,
I just tested it on a demo installation and the result was a mess.
First try to upload got a message that there is no path or something like that.
second try the message was saying that something went wrong and were not everything uploaded.
Then I checked on the front end and the calendar was missing, and the e-mail field too (were only the labels not the fields).
Third try got a message that can not update from 2.1.1 to 2.1.1. Then I tried to uninstall the update but the all component was uninstalled. After that I installed it from the beginning and got the first blue message that everything were fine.

Is the update necessary? Should I try again on a new demo? or better leave it as it is?
Consider that already I have more than 160 forms on my site for both languages.
Finlay what I don't understand is on release notes:
Bugfixes
Replacement of placeholder in receipt mail and result text didn't work for text areas
Replacement of placeholder in receipt mail and result text didn't work properly when user input is empty
File upload only worked properly for the first field of type file upload in one form
Do you mean that you have fixed these, or with the update I will face these problems?

first of all, I'm really shocked that you have such problems.
I tested the updates very extensively in many different environments and with different forms and fields...
And I've rarely heard of problems with the updates before.

Where did you get the 1.0.0 Version, you have installed on your website in the first place, from?

It's a bit sad, that you have not made screenshots or something like that from the error messages you've got.
I would really like to know what exactly went wrong and why and I would really like to help you, but on the information you provide that is not possible. To me it sounds that in truth only small thing went wrong, which would easily have been ajusted, and the installation/update of Visforms gives quite exact messages. But I think it is to late for that, as you have a already unistalled the messy update.

Is it necessary to update?
Visforms 1.0.0 is as save as Visforms 2.1.1 so from the security point of view there is no need to. Newer Versions do have more features, but if you are happy with the features of 1.0.0 (I have a notion that you are happy with them) form the feature point of view there is not need either. If you think in long term maintainance of your website and that you maybe some day want update to Joomla! 3.x and you would like to be able to just update Visforms and continue using your forms without setting up them anew, then the update is necessary at some future moment, at least when you start thinking about the update to Joomla! 3.x.

Bugfixes
This means, that this were smaller bugs in 2.1.0 which were fixed in the 2.1.1. So you do not have to face these problems.

Do you think there is any possibility for me to get a backup of that demo installation, which I could install on my local test system to try reproducing your problems?

first of all I notice that there are new futures,one of the best is that you can copy new fields on any form that you like.
Imagine that when I decided to ad a field ''Number of children'' in the forms of all my hotels (about 100 that time), I had to create all of theme one by one, something which is much more easier now.
(Let me tell you about an issue that I had with these fields, just for you to know more about:
When I created the ''Number of children'' field, this went at the end of the form which is normal. Then I put it on line number 3 and save it. I did the same for all my forms. The strange is that now when I submit a new Hotel on my site and copy a form with its fields from another the field ''Number of children'' goes always at the end and not in line 3. I can not understand why)

Lets go back to my present issue:
I will try again with my latest backup which I will install in a different folder to see if I can manage something better.
I can sent you the same backup (httpdocs+darabase) to try.
So let me know if you are interesting and sent me an e-mail in order to sent you everything via wetransfer.com.
The main reason I would like to have the new version is because of its new futures and second the possibility of updating the joomla version.

I tried again and the wrong message I got is:
''Incorrect version sequence. Cannot upgrade 2.1.1 to 2.1.1.
Now everything in back end looks like the new version.
In front end I have a lot of issues:
1. Check in and check out there are no calendars and even no fields to write the date.
2. Same problem on e-mail field
3.''Type of Room'' field is there but without the values, same ''Number of Adults'' and ''Choose your country'', although ''Number of children'' field is ok with its values.
4. Captcha does not refresh and says wrong captcha.

Now if you check in back-end all these fields looks ok with their values.
I don't know how to attach screenshot images but you will not see something more.
If you can find out what is going on, let me know.

can you export the database tables #__extensions, #__visforms, #__visfields and #_visforms_n where n is a number (if they exist) with phpMyAdmin into an .sql file and send me the file to contact@vi-solutions.de?
