Max Submissions per $user id

Dear Ingmar,

I've very nearly got a very good solution to all of my requirements thanks to Visforms. I was especially excited to find that the PDF editor allowed me to create just the output needed.

I have one remaining wish currently and that is to limit the number of form submissions to one per Joomla user id. And to create a message to the user and hide the submit button, as the subscription "max submissions" enables, if they have already submitted a form.

However "max submissions" doesn't appear to recognise the individual user, merely the total number of submissions that have been made. Am I missing something?

Is this something that, once again, you may be able to suggest a solution for?

I am very pleased that the PDF feature is also serving you so well .
And also that you were able to create a very good solution for all your requirements with Visforms.

The "max submissions" setting actually only counts the number of successfully submitted forms.
You want to use a different setting.

The feature is described in the documentation.

I'll need to think a bit about this, our currently proposed process means that we add additional data after submission and wouldn't want to expose that to editing. Some compromise may be required!

at the moment sending the form once is linked to displaying the edit link.
The name is accordingly 'Display edit link instead of form'.

This is actually an unnecessary restriction for you, which we would like to remove.
We would like to separate the sending once from the question of what is then displayed or executed instead of the form.

I like the Max Submissions options. If that had the option to select Max Submissions "per form" or "per registered user" and then the option "Display Edit Link - Yes/No" I for one would be very happy!

My wish was to present the user with a message like "You have submitted an entry, if your require to make changes please email"  and hide the submit button.
